The opera district is livening up Frankfurt city – and has its own centre for premium brands and upscale dining thanks to the MA’RO. The complex’s two corner buildings are the perfect places to browse, shop and snack. Ceilings up to five metres high, coupled with giant, double-storey display windows, create a prestigious setting for trendy designer boutiques.
It is a melting pot of labels from all over the world, including the Hanseatic Barons & Bastards, British lingerie chain Rigby & Peller, and long-established American brand Brooks Brothers. It is worth noting that the MA’RO is the brands’ first location in the Rhine-Main region, and indeed the first outlet anywhere in Germany for celebrity outfitter Brooks Brothers.
On the ground floor, gastronomic offerings with a cosy terrace form the opposite pole to the hustle and bustle, while the local companies present themselves excellently on the upper office floors. As an added bonus, the upper terraces offer a sensational view over the opera quarter and the skyline of Mainhattan.
