Alpha Rotex

Sophisticated architectureat Gateway Gardens

Since August 2013, DB Schenker has been centring its managerial functions at Gateway Gardens at Frankfurt Airport, which houses the world’s second largest logistics company in the 16-storey Alpha Rotex – a prominent landmark building soaring to a height of 68 m.

The internationally renowned architecture firm Jo. Franzke designed the Alpha Rotex based on a rounded triangular floor plan. Each wing revolves around the building’s core, alternating their orientation from the eighth floor up using the principle of point reflection. This creates a unique shape, different to the conventional building block.

Unparalleled Views from Every Floor

Each floor offers access to the 30-meter-high winter gardens, where sweeping vistas of the skyline, the airfield, and Gateway Gardens’ central park create a truly stunning panorama.
